The Small Business Stabilization Program - A grant of up to $5,000 for Small Businesses
The Small Business Stabilization Program application program will open in the coming days. Applications will be processed on a first come first serve basis to small businesses with five or fewer employees where one or more of the employees owns the business. Once an application is received, it will be reviewed by Central Falls staff for conformance to the program rules and then submitted to the Rhode Island Office of Housing and Community Development for approval and funding.
- Awards will be made as grants.
- No more than one grant award shall be made to each small business and/or each small business owner.
- Award amounts shall not exceed $5,000
- Funds may be used for working capital to cover business costs, such as rent, staffing, utilities.
- Funds may not be used for equipment purchases, construction activities, or business expansion.
- The number of grants to be made is limited.
Applications will be distributed as soon as available. To ensure that you get an application upon release, register for the program by emailing ped@centralfallsri.us. Please mark the subject line as "The Small Business Stabilization Program" and include your name, the name of the business, phone, and email.
