Central Falls celebrates 2022 Restaurant Week and the return of Salsa Night
CENTRAL FALLS, RI (August 25, 2022) – On Friday, August 26, the City of Central Falls is kicking off the first day of its 2022 Central Falls Restaurant Week, while making the return of one of the city’s most popular and beloved events: Salsa Night.
“Our community was impacted in so many ways by this pandemic, and I’m proud we can support our small businesses by encouraging diners from across the state to explore the amazing international cuisine we offer throughout Central Falls,” said Mayor Maria Rivera. “Friday night, we’re expecting hundreds of residents and visitors will be taking free salsa lessons, dancing to live music, and celebrating our amazing culture and community together on our beautifully adorned Roosevelt Avenue bridge for the return of Salsa Night. I love this city!”

ABOUT SALSA NIGHT (AUGUST 26, 2022)
Being held for the first time since the pandemic on Friday, August 26 (7:00-11:00pm), this highly-anticipated event is held outdoors under lights on the beautifully adorned Roosevelt Avenue bridge overlooking the Blackstone River. Hundreds of residents and visitors come out for for a free night of salsa lessons followed by a live band with dancing for the evening. Local food trucks and drinks will be available for purchase. This amazing celebration of community and culture in Central Falls is one of the most popular events held in the city.
ABOUT RESTAURANT WEEK (AUGUST 26 – SEPTEMBER 4, 2022)
Following in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Central Falls is working to support local restaurants and celebrate the diversity of the community by highlighting the amazing international cuisine that can be found in just One Square Mile. Dozens of local restaurants are participating, with deals and details found at www.centralfallsri.gov/restaurantweek. Customers who visit any local Central Falls restaurants between August 26-September 4 and post picture of their visit on social media using #CFLocalEats or #CFSabor will be entered for the chance to win restaurant giftcards!
