These classes help families find, manage, and fix asthma triggers in the home; teach how to use an inhaler, and other medication, correctly. They also help tenants understand their housing rights.
Who we serve: Families who have children with severe asthma who live in Providence, Central Falls, Pawtucket and Woonsocket.

Breath Easy at Home
If a landlord will not fix a suspected housing code violation that is triggering asthma, the Breathe Easy at Home program helps doctors contact building officials. We also help tenants get legal support.
Target Audience: Renters living in Providence, Central Falls, Pawtucket and Woonsocket housing that contributes to asthma.

Certified Asthma Educators
Certified Asthma Educators are experts in how to manage asthma and minimize its impact.
Cost: Depend on insurance. Co-pays may apply.

Draw a Breath Asthma Program
Asthma education program for children and their parents designed to provide families with the knowledge, skills, and tools to effectively manage asthma and to reduce emergency room and overnight hospital stays for asthma. Improves child and family knowledge and confidence in managing asthma. The Draw a Breathe Program's group-based approach creates a unique learning environment in which both children and caregivers learn from, and are motivated by, each other. Offered in English and Spanish.
Target Audience: Families with a child with asthma are eligible to take part in the program
