Senior Snow Shoveling Program

CF youth are paired with nearby elderly homeowners to assist them in the event of snowfall. Youth are expected to shovel out their senior's walkway and sidewalk, excluding school hours on weekdays. Youth are paid for their work and this program is free of charge to senior homeowners.

Summer Food Service Program Staff

SFSP directs a  eight - ten week program operated between July and August for youth ages eighteen and older. The program provides youth with work experience with food regulations and children management. These experiences provide youth with hands-on opportunities to develop skills they will need upon entering the workforce. Youth receive wages and are required to participate.

BVCAP Summer Youth Employment Program

BVCAP directs a six to eight-week program operated between July and August for youth ages fourteen and twenty-four. The program provides youth with work experience opportunities in local businesses, public facilities, and non-profit agencies. These experiences provide youth with hands-on opportunities to develop skills they will need upon entering the workforce. Youth receive wages and are required to participate in a youth readiness workshop that educates them on basic job skills such as resume writing, interviews, and personal career tests.
