Central Falls launches ARPA spending transparency portal
Central Falls, RI (November 10, 2021) - The City of Central Falls has launched a new transparency portal (www.centralfallsri.gov/ARPA) to communicate updates on American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) expenditures and a pathway for residents to provide further feedback and suggestions.
The spending portal follows the work and report of the Central Falls Advisory Council for Funding from the American Rescue Plan, created by Mayor Rivera in May 2021 to ensure community input was included in decision-making around how to potentially spend important Rescue dollars. The Advisory Council thoroughly reviewed opportunities for spending and held a public input hearing before issuing their Final Report for recommendations under consideration.
