Large items will not be picked up with your regular weekly trash.
City Disposal of Large Items
The following items can be picked up by special appointment upon payment of the corresponding fee:
- Air conditioners $20.00
- Mattresses $15.00
- Televisions $8.00
- Refrigerators $20.00
- Box springs $15.00
- Car tires $15.00
- Exercise equipment $8.00
- Washers $8.00
- Dryers $8.00
- Stoves $8.00
- Space heaters $8.00
- Dishwashers $8.00
- Hot water heaters $8.00
The city will no longer be picking up any electronics (computer equipment and microwaves) effective 11/20/2015. Residents should bring those items to the landfill or the transfer station in Pawtucket on Grotto Avenue.
Please call to schedule a pick-up appointment or complete the downloadable Request for Large Item Trash Pickup in the Supporting Documents below and either bring it or mail it to our High Street address.
Non-City Disposal of Large Items
Unfortunately, large items not listed above will not be picked up by the City. Residents are free to bring such unlisted large waste items to the Pawtucket Transfer Station or to the RI Central Landfill. Relevant charges will apply.
