BEAT COVID-19 Hotline

In addition to helping residents register for vaccines and access testing, the BEAT COVID-19 HOTLINE can connect residents with resources to overcome hardships associated with the coronavirus pandemic Residents in need of COVID-19 related assistance can call the BEAT COVID-19 hotline at 855-843-7620.

2-1-1

The 2-1-1 hotline can connect residents with housing, food, affordable childcare, and many more community resources. 2-1-1 is a free, confidential hotline service that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Translation services are available in many languages.

Senior Lunch Information

If you are, or know of, a Central Falls senior citizen in immediate need of a boxed lunch or is in critical need of groceries during this difficult time, please have them call the Office of Constituent Services & Health at 401-616-2451.

Food Assistance Providers Information

Progreso Latino

Throughout the summer, Progreso Latino will have food distribution to families in need from 10am to 1pm on Mondays and Wednesdays at Knights of Columbus (20 Claremont Street, Central Falls). The first 400 families will sometimes receive a Farm Fresh Rhode Island box. The Progreso Latino Food Pantry is for Central Falls residents and immigrant families in RI, regardless of citizenship or immigration status. No ID required, no appointment needed. Handicap accessible, masks are required. Progreso Latino is a member agency of the Rhode Island Community Food Bank which provides the food for the food pantry and is funded by the Rhode Island Foundation. Call 401-365-4010 with questions.

Blackstone Valley Emergency Food Center

The Blackstone Valley Emergency Food Center will be operating at 75 Benefit Street, Pawtucket on Monday/Wednesday/Friday from 9-11:30am. For those who wish to use this resource, they will need to present a photo ID, recent rent receipt, and proof of income. For more information, please call 401-724-7170.

Church of the Good Shepherd

The Church of the Good Shepherd at 490 Broadway, Pawtucket will be operating on Saturdays only (1-2pm) and require proof of residence and a photo ID. This service is by appointment only. Please call 401-724-8546 to make an appointment.

Blackstone Valley Community Action Project

BVCAP will be providing assistance at 210 West Avenue, Pawtucket Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday 9am-1pm by appointment only. Please call 401-723-4520 to schedule an appointment.
